Alice ventures into Wonderland after following a white rabbit, there her adventures truly begin as she meets lots of eccentric characters mostly good but in the case of the Queen of Hearts very bad indeed.

This is a pantomimic version of Lewis Carroll’s classic tale with all the elements of a traditional panto: principal girl and boy, Dame, villain and comedy duo; all this while remaining faithful to the familiar plot.

The Snow Queen

The Snow Queen

The evil Snow Queen finally takes revenge on her family for abandoning her years before. She captures Prince Darius but doesn’t count on the resilience of his sister Princess Anya to fight back.

Adapted from Hans Christian Anderson’s classic tale, this is an entirely original version of the Snow Queen which has been customised especially for pantomime, with Principal Boy and Girl, Dame, two comedy duos. an evil villainess and a comedic robber gang.

Plot Summary

Princess Anya and two servants attempt a bold rescue mission after the evil Snow Queen casts a spell and kidnaps Prince Darius in an act of vengeance for her family banishing her years before.  The King, Queen and Clara the cook all set off in quick pursuit as well. When Anya meets the dashing and handsome Olav, she happily accepts his offer of help.  Three robbers are also persuaded to help try to defeat the Snow Queen.

At the Ice Palace the Snow Queen is assisted by her two henchmen Frostbite and Iceberg as she tries to freeze Darius’s heart with a splinter from her magic mirror, but she finally gets her comeuppance as Anya and Olav fight back.

All ends happily when Princess Anya finds out Olav is really a Count and agrees to marry him.

Approx. 2 hours long
The pantomime has 15 characters plus chorus/dancers

“There is something quintessentially evil about the exiled Snow Queen plotting revenge in her icy mountain steadfast against her good sister Queen ... and her family. The Snow Queen revels in her dastardliness, provoking boos and hisses from the audience from the start. There is great opportunity for imaginative settings and music and costumes to support the action and for comic characters to entertain the audience. Just the tonic for a cold winter's evening.”

R. Sullivan

“Susan writes both original and traditional scripts that often have a twist to them. She includes direction and suggestions but not to the point where you are struggling to find your lines in-between prescriptive direction notes, rather she allows you to expand on her suggestions depending on the skill set of those involved. Because her Pantomimes have been written recently her jokes are contemporary and funny, they are also child friendly. I look forward to performing in my next Susan Mosley Pantomime.”

L.A. Raine

“I really enjoyed the script. Keep doing what you're doing, it's fabulous!”
